A Pakistani Militant belonging to Jaishe-e-Muhammad outfit was killed in an encounter with security forces in the Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, police said.
The encounter started when the security forces launched a Cardon and Search Operation in Mirhama Kulgam, Kashmir acting upon the intel about the presence of militants there, revealed a police officer.
He also added that the encounter broke-out after the militants hinding there fired on security forces.
IGP, kashmir, Vijay Kumar, said that the salin militant was a Pakistani nationalists and belonged to JeM outfit.
