Srinagar, June 3: Three soldiers and a civilian were injured in an armed clash in Rishipura area of Anantnag district of south Kashmir on Friday.
A police spokesman said the soldiers and civilians suffered gunshot wounds during the initial exchange of fire and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The exchange of fire was ongoing when the report was lodged.
The clash erupted this evening when security forces cordoned off the area following a tip-off about the presence of militants.
